Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope will be hosting its first annual Just Us Girls event

Hope, Arkansas: Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope will be hosting its first annual Just Us Girls event on Tuesday, October 28 th from 5:00 -7:00 pm. The event will be held in the Radiology area of the hospital and ladies should enter at the main entrance. The event is designed to simply have fun with your girlfriends and get a head start on your Christmas shopping and at the same time, help to raise awareness of early detection for breast cancer. There will be 16 vendors selling unique products ranging everywhere from jewelry and trendy clothing to homemade soaps and Home Décor and much, much more. You don’t want to miss out on this fun-filled event.

Just Us Girls was created as a unique event to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in a fun and inviting way. “Our goal is to expose ladies to our mammography services and meet our staff so to take away any possible anxiety or reservations they may have about getting a mammogram,” says Shelby Brown, Director of Marketing & Planning for Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope. Mammograms will be performed that night by our qualified staff. A physician order is needed so a lady’s personal physician can call 877-685-0013 to schedule or we will have providers available that night to write an order. If the patient has insurance, we will file on the insurance and if they are uninsured, we have Komen funds available. In addition to the numerous vendors, there will be hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and healthcare professionals available to answer questions or concerns.
